Jarron H. Smith

Jarron H. Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and strategy within financial services and venture capital. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Marshfield Associates since September 2024, Jarron also contributes as a Board Member at VC in DC and was part of the DMV Chapter Leadership Team at BLCK VC. Previously, Jarron held leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Zeal Capital Partners and Managing Director and Chief of Staff at TIAA, where recognition included the TIAA Culture Carrier Award in February 2023. Jarron's foundational career at EY involved advising risk management executives and leading strategic initiatives. Jarron holds an MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School, complementing an educational background from the University of Pennsylvania, Greenhill School, and Head-Royce School.
