Geoffrey Zub has over 20 years of professional experience in the software engineering and DevOps fields. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Applix, where they worked on the Applixware Spreadsheet developing enhancements and providing bug fixes, as well as maintaining and developing Applixware Realtime Engines on multiple market data platforms. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at VistaSource Inc., where they developed new features for Applixware Realtime Spreadsheet and VistaSource Realtime for Excel, and ported and built the Applixware on Redhat and Suse Linux and FreeBSD. From 2002 to 2014, they worked at Putnam Investments as a Technical Expert, Server Operations - Market Data Systems, where they maintained the enterprise wide legacy Tibco market data infrastructure until retirement, and designed, engineered and deployed the Reuters Internet Finance Platform (SDS & RSS) as part of this infrastructure. Finally, from 2014 to 2018, they worked at CVS Health as an Environment Management, where they architected, developed and implemented a new Jenkins based pipeline for ATG & Angular continuous integration/deployment, leveraging Ansible, Gitlab/SVN, and Nexus, and architected, developed and deployed 14 new full stack development environments on OpenStack using Chef.

Geoffrey Zub attended The American School in London from 1979 to 1992, where they completed a College Preparatory program. Geoffrey then went to Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
