Ville Taipale

CEO at Martela

Ville Taipale has been working in the corporate world for over 20 years. Ville started their career as a researcher at VTT, before moving into the private sector with Nokia. Ville worked their way up through the ranks at Nokia, eventually becoming head of sourcing quality and head of sourcing cost management. In 2007, they left Nokia to join Fiskars as director of the sourcing unit. In 2010, they moved to Componenta Oyj as vice president of sourcing. In 2015, they joined Patria Land as vice president of sourcing and logistics. Ville remained with Patria Land until 2018, when they were appointed CEO of Martela.

Ville Taipale has a Master's degree from Tampere University of Technology. Ville has been teaching at the university since 1965 and is currently a professor there.
