Currently, Sonja serves as the Senior Vice President of Compliance & State Filings at Martin & Company, overseeing compliance programs since October 2007, and previously held the role of Vice President and Director of Compliance. Prior to this, Sonja worked at Whitehill Technologies as a Senior Compliance Analyst for a brief period, and spent nearly a decade at Transguard Insurance Company of America, Inc. as Director of Compliance, focusing on regulatory compliance and departmental management. Earlier experience includes managing the Research and Development Department at Legion Insurance Company and serving as an Assistant Underwriter at Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland, where responsibilities ranged from underwriting to product development.
