Jason Sturdy has a strong background in the food industry, with their most recent position being Vice President of Manufacturing at Martin Foods since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tyson Foods for several years, holding roles such as Plant Manager and Sr. Industrial Engineer. Jason also worked at KPR Foods as a Food Safety Manager and at Texas Smokehouse Foods as a Quality Assurance Manager.
Jason Sturdy obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1992. Before that, from 1987 to 1989, they studied Animal Sciences at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City. In addition to their formal education, they also earned several certifications in Six Sigma methodology from Villanova University, including Six Sigma Black Belt in November 2014, Lean Six Sigma in July 2014, and Six Sigma Green Belt in May 2014.
