Gerrit Burke

Gerrit Burke has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gerrit started their career at ExxonMobil as a Knowledge Management Analyst, where they played a key role in managing cultural change associated with integrating new software sets. Gerrit co-led a network of volunteers and developed training modules to efficiently train employees.

Following this, Gerrit joined Intrepid as a Software Analyst and later took on the role of Site Lead for the Synergistic Manned-Unmanned Intelligent Teaming (SUMIT) Future Open Rotorcraft Cockpit Environment (FORCE) Open Mission System. Gerrit developed the software architecture and execution strategy for this project and facilitated its testing and evaluation by active duty pilots.

In 2018, Gerrit transitioned to Dynetics, Inc. as the Enterprise IT & Cybersecurity Business Development Lead. In this role, they served in leadership positions, contributing to business strategy, pipeline cultivation, capture, and proposal development for large-scale, strategic efforts across Army, Navy, Air Force, NASA, and other portfolios. Gerrit also played a key part in managing the Other Transaction Authorities program and fulfilling Non-Traditional Defense Contractor obligations.

Currently, Gerrit is Vice President of Engineering Solutions at MartinFed, where they oversee the engineering solutions department.
