Alex Deering

Alex Deering has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They currently work at Martin's Point Health Care, starting in August 2020 as a Call Center Representative and later transitioning to the roles of System Specialist, Senior System Specialist, and currently, Associate Business and Application Analyst. Prior to joining Martin's Point Health Care, Alex worked as an HIM Representative for Martin's Point Health Care at ProSearch from November 2019 to August 2020. They also have experience as a Produce Associate at Hannaford Supermarkets from September 2018 to August 2020. Additionally, Alex has worked as an I.S. Site Support Intern at MaineHealth in the summer of 2019. Before that, they worked as a Shift Leader at P.W. Plummer & Sons Inc from September 2015 to June 2019. They also had seasonal roles as a Ride Operator at Funtown Splashtown USA in the summer of 2015 and as a Dishwasher at Personal Touch Catering from June 2014 to May 2015.

Alex Deering attended Bonny Eagle High School from 2012 to 2016. They obtained a CompTIA A+ ce Certification in June 2016. Alex then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Network Engineering at Johnson & Wales University from 2016 to 2017. They furthered their education by earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology from the University of Southern Maine between 2017 and 2020. They obtained additional certifications including a Cisco CCNA Discovery 4.0 in June 2015, CompTIA A+ ce in June 2016, CompTIA A+ in May 2019, Google/CompTIA dual credential in July 2021, and Google IT Support Certificate in July 2021. They also acquired various certifications related to SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Automate from LinkedIn in August 2023.
