Ershad Assefi

Ershad Assefi currently serves as CIO/CTO at Marubeni Corporation, leading digital and technological transformation in Chile across three strategic verticals, including management of 27 points of sale and cybersecurity initiatives. Previously, Ershad was LATAM Corporate CIO at Sodimac, defining technology strategy across seven countries and overseeing corporate applications and e-commerce operations. Earlier roles include CIO and IT Manager at Makro Argentina, where management of the ICT department took place, and Product Development Manager in LATAM at Citi, responsible for the CitiATM application. Ershad's career also features leadership positions at Mercado Libre, Boopix.com, BVision, Telecom Argentina, Banelco, and BBVA Francés, complemented by an Executive MBA from IAE Business School and a Master’s in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.
