Prem Kumar Vislawath

Prem Kumar Vislawath has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Datawind Ltd, where they strategized techniques for maximum utilization of manpower and machinery in contract manufacturing. Prem then joined Learnpedia Edutech Private Limited as Technical Lead, where they were responsible for encrypting video lectures for device-specific modes for content deployment and overseeing content migration into Learnpedia's custom-developed Android Platform and related product management.

In 2013, Vislawath co-founded Raasta Films, a company dedicated to listening to everyone's story, and also founded Raasta Studios Private Limited, a video production house. That same year, they also joined the IIT Guwahati Alumni Association as an Executive Board Member, where they initiated the Alumni Connect Campaign and implemented Alumnus Identity Cards. In 2014, they became Chief Coordinator of the Pan IIT Hyderabad Alumni Association.

In 2017, Vislawath founded Virtual Raasta, a company dedicated to marrying cutting edge technology and innovation to bring creative ideas to life in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Prem also founded Amplify - Events & Conferences, India's first exclusive event production house.

Most recently, in 2019, Vislawath founded Marut Dronetech, a drone manufacturing company, and in 2021 they became Co-Founder & COO of Drogo Drones, a company focused on the commercial applications of UAVs. Vislawath was listed under Forbes' The 30 Under 30 2020 Asia for their work with Marut Dronetech.

Prem Kumar Vislawath completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
