Matt Sernett

Matt Sernett has extensive work experience in the medical staffing industry. Matt started their career at Aureus Medical Group in 2014, where they worked as a Recruiter, responsible for sourcing and identifying qualified candidates, conducting phone interviews, and matching candidates to potential positions. Matt later became an Account Manager, where they continued their recruiting responsibilities and also communicated with hospital clients to ensure proper hiring techniques. In 2016, they were promoted to Recruitment Branch Manager, overseeing a team of recruiters and leading morning huddles. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Travel Nurse Recruiter-Team Lead, where they continued their recruiting duties and also provided leadership to the team. In 2020, they became an Account Manager again before leaving Aureus Medical Group in 2023. Matt then joined Marvel Medical Staffing as the Director of Sales Training and later became the Director of Strategic Operations and Development, responsible for defining and implementing operational policies and procedures for the organization.

Matt Sernett attended Nebraska Wesleyan University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a focus on Human Resource Management.
