Gowrishankar Muthukrishnan

Gowrishankar Muthukrishnan is a seasoned engineer with a robust background in semiconductor and software engineering, currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor since September 2020, focusing on DPDK and ODP dataplane for CNXK driver and DPU HW blocks. Prior to Marvell, Muthukrishnan held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, where expertise included optimizing resources in OpenVSwitch and DPDK for OpenStack NFV VNFs. Muthukrishnan’s extensive experience at IBM spanned various roles, including Advisory Software Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining DPDK for the IBM PowerPC platform and leading the development of a WiFi network application. Early career contributions included automation and testing for Oracle products, alongside a solid educational foundation with a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Bharathiar University.
