Barbara Marshall Thompson, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Barbara started their career in 2004 at Montefiore Medical Center, where they worked as a Pediatric Endocrinologist until 2007. In 2019, they joined Mary Bridge Children's Hospital as the Chief of Staff, a position they held until 2021. Barbara Marshall Thompson, MD, MBA has an extensive education history. Barbara completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1996. Following this, in 1996, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at Ross University School of Medicine, completing the degree in 2000. In 2015, Barbara obtained certification as a Nutrition Therapist from the Health Sciences Academy. Recently, in 2021, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University.
