Sarah has more than thirty-two years’ experience in residential social care and education, working with children and adults with autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs. In her current role as the director of wellbeing at Prior’s Court Foundation Sarah oversees a large multifaceted charity with over 500 staff. Sarah is an international speaker on autism and was instrumental in developing the specialist approach which underpins the autism best practice at Prior’s Court. She is also a member of the national consultative forum for residential children’s care for Ofsted and has worked in Safeguarding for many years. Sarah holds a MSc in Health & Social Care. In 2018 Sarah was awarded an MBE for services to children with special educational needs.
