Derek Miles

Derek Miles has a diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Derek most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mary T. Inc., overseeing finance, medical billing, and risk teams while strategically guiding the organization. Prior to that, Derek worked as a Consultant for a Non-Profit Healthcare Organization.

Derek also served as the Director of Finance at Brock White Construction Materials, where they led the finance function and played a key role in strategic planning and acquisitions. Additionally, Derek worked as a Finance Director at American Dental Partners, where they built a shared services accounting team and managed accounting responsibilities for multiple affiliated groups and business units.

Earlier in their career, Derek held the position of Finance Director at Health Dialog, where they were responsible for budgeting, reporting, and leading strategic portfolio reviews. Derek began their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at BJ's Wholesale Club.

Throughout their career, Derek has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Derek Miles pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Economics from The George Washington University between 1995 and 1999. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend Boston College Carroll School of Management from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance.
