Parul Shah

Parul Shah has extensive experience in both educational and event management roles. As President of Elegant Events, LLC since August 2011, Parul oversees event activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and client satisfaction. Prior to this, Parul held various positions at Howard Community College from October 2005 until retirement in January 2024, including Assistant Director of Tutoring Services, where responsibilities extended to hiring and training tutors, managing student appointments, and coordinating certification efforts for the tutoring center. In addition, Parul served as an Adjunct Lecturer, teaching courses in Life Span Development and Psychology. Earlier roles include Academic Coordinator for the Upward Bound Program at the University of Maryland, focused on supporting first-generation college-bound students, and Principal at Dr. Bhanuben Mahendra Nanavati College in Mumbai, recognized as the youngest principal of the institution during tenure.
