Candace Shillingford

Candace Shillingford, LSW, MSW, CCTS-I, currently serves as a School Based Mental Health Therapist at Maryland Family Resource, Inc. since September 2022 and as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Lutheran Settlement House since November 2021. Candace held the position of Executive Board Member at the Women's Medical Fund from January 2020 to December 2021 and worked as a Therapist at Women Against Abuse, Inc. from February 2020 to October 2021. Previous roles include Mental Health Technician at Horsham Clinic and various positions at Women Against Abuse, Inc., including Behavioral Health Therapist and Intake Specialist. Candace also worked as a Family Advocate/Doula at Maternity Care Coalition and as a Family Based Counselor at MCC Warwick Family Services. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
