Dominic Smith is a bilingual mental health therapist at Maryland Family Resource, Inc. since April 2022, bringing a wealth of experience in educational and mental health settings. Previously, Dominic served as a specialist in equity and cultural proficiency at Baltimore County Public Schools from August 2017 to June 2022, and held multiple roles as an ESOL teacher and department chair at Lansdowne High School. At Cristo Rey Jesuit High School-Baltimore, Dominic was the director of mission and identity, focusing on spiritual formation for faculty and staff. Dominic’s earlier roles included chairing the department of world languages at Hereford High School and teaching French and Spanish. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work with a focus on bilingual therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore, a Master of Education from DePaul University, and a PGCE from the University of Nottingham, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in French and Portuguese from the University of Leeds.
