Shareef is a private equity specialist bringing 20 years of industry experience in healthcare, oil and gas and technology. While at Citigroup New York, he directed consumer and healthcare M&A as a Global Markets investment banker. While with the Qatar Investment Authority Foundation in Doha and Hermes in Dubai, he invested $85M in energy infrastructure projects across emerging markets including the Saharan Desert. While with Qualcomm in Silicon Valley, Shareef managed a $100M telecommunications semiconductor product line which he successfully deployed worldwide.

He has conducted business in 30 countries and has worked and lived overseas for 5 years in China and the Middle East / North Africa region. He held Series 7 and 63 licenses while based on Wall Street and graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA with honors in Finance and Management. Shareef also graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science cum laude in Electrical Engineering and concentration in International Relations.
