Barbie Jenkins

Barbie Jenkins is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in production and executive roles. Currently serving as a Senior Producer at Maryland Public Television since May 2023, Jenkins previously held the position of Executive Producer & EIC at DIXON/DAVIS MEDIA GROUP, LLC from June 2021 to February 2023. Freelancing as a Supervising Producer from December 2020 to June 2021, Jenkins also contributed to the Biden for President 2020 African American Paid Media program during tenure at Truxton Creative. Jenkins has a rich history at Discovery Creative & Production as Supervising Producer & Director, and at Sirens Media in various producing roles, including key episodes of Evil Twins and Bride Killa. Earlier experiences include field producing for political commercials and producing for multiple television series. Jenkins holds a BS in Marketing from West Virginia Wesleyan College, earned in May 1995.
