Nishan Walgampaya

Nishan Walgampaya has a strong background in finance and operations, with extensive experience in the apparel industry. Nishan served as the Director of Finance and Operations at MAS Holdings, a global apparel-tech conglomerate, from October 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Finance at MAS Fabrics - Matrix from January 2015 to September 2018. Nishan also worked as a Financial Controller at Noyon Lanka Pvt Ltd from October 2004 to December 2014, and as a Management Trainee at MAS Intimates from August 2003 to September 2004. Nishan began their career at KPMG Sri Lanka as a Junior Analyst in Corporate Finance, gaining exposure to various industries and multinational organizations from January 2000 to March 2003.

Nishan Walgampaya has attended the National University of Singapore where they pursued Executive Education in Organizational Leadership. They also obtained a degree as a Fellow in Accounting and Business/Management from CIMA. Additionally, they completed a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management General at the University of Wales, Cardiff. Nishan Walgampaya has also participated in Executive Education at the University of Kentucky's College of Engineering for Lean Executive Leadership.
