Sid Amalean

Sid Amalean has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles.

Sid is currently the Head of Strategy at MAS Holdings, a global apparel tech conglomerate. Sid joined MAS Holdings in 2023 and is responsible for leading the company's strategic initiatives. Before this role, they served as an Innovation Board Member, contributing to the company's innovation efforts.

Prior to joining MAS Holdings, Sid worked as the Head of Sustainable Business at MAS Holdings from 2020 to 2022. Sid played a key role in driving sustainability initiatives in the company.

Sid also has experience in the non-profit sector, serving as the Director of MAS Foundation for Change. This independent non-profit organization focuses on addressing social and environmental challenges in Sri Lanka and beyond.

Before joining MAS Holdings, Sid worked as a Business Entrepreneur at Twinery - Innovations by MAS. Sid was responsible for driving business growth and innovation.

Earlier in their career, Sid worked as a Senior Consultant at Virtusa and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Sid also gained experience as an intern at attune.

Sid Amalean completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Operations Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Prior to that, they attended Colombo International School. In addition, they obtained a certification from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2023.
