Suzanne Turner

Suzanne Turner is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Scientific Advisor at the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group since June 2024 and as a member of the International Scientific Advisory Board at the World Cancer Research Fund since January 2018. Turner is also the Coordinator of the FANTOM EU Doctoral Training Network at Masaryk University since January 2020 and an Affiliated Principal Investigator at the University of Cambridge, where Turner holds the title of Professor and has held various significant roles, including Deputy Head of Department and Director of Teaching. With a focus on paediatric cancers, Turner leads a research group investigating Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and neuroblastoma, having authored over 100 publications and received funding from multiple organizations. Turner has contributed extensively to various scientific committees and initiatives and has a substantial background in teaching, supervising PhD students, and consulting for biotech and medtech firms.
