Zdenek Spacil

Zdenek Spacil is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in research and academia. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist in R&D at Thermo Fisher Scientific since November 2021, Zdenek also holds positions as an Assistant Professor and Group Leader/Principal Investigator at Masaryk University since September 2015. Previous roles include Visiting Researcher and Research Scientist at the University of Washington, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Systems Biology. Zdenek completed postdoctoral research in clinical enzymology at the University of Washington and earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Stockholm University, where detailed work in LC-MS/MS Quantitative Bioanalysis was conducted. Zdenek attained an M.Sc. in Pharmacy from Charles University and has contributed significantly to the field of pharmaceutical quantitative analysis and peptide quantification.
