Yong Li

Founding Engineer at Mashgin

Yong Li has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 2004, they founded Fireinspiration, where they initially focused on user experience design and project management. Yong eventually took on additional responsibilities in market development and client relationship management and eventually became responsible for running the business. In 2006, they founded and served as the CEO of Goodup Technology, a web-based design and web development business. During their time there, they established the start-up infrastructure, developed business and operational plans, and conceptualized an innovative Internet marketer model. In 2015, Li joined Mashgin Inc., where they worked in Engineering & Supply Chain. In the same year, they also founded Collective Wisdom LLC, where they acted as the founder and focused on building a deep-learning-based computer vision platform. Yong continued to work on this project until December 2018.

Yong Li began their education in 2002, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer Arts and Design from Mianyang Normal University in 2004. In 2010, they attended San Diego State University for two years, although their specific degree and field of study during this time are unknown. In 2012, Li enrolled at UC San Diego for a year, focusing on Computer Science. From 2014 to 2016, they attended Stanford University, studying Machine Learning and Data Science.
