Asma Khan

Asma Khan is an accomplished executive in credit risk management with extensive experience in various financial institutions. Currently serving as EVP and Head of Fundamental Credit Risk at Mashreq Bank since May 2018, Asma oversees risk appetite establishment for specific sectors including Healthcare, Education, and Government entities. Previously, Asma held the position of Regional Risk Manager at ADIB, managing corporate credit requests and portfolio management. Throughout a career that spans over two decades, Asma has also held significant roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Crédit Agricole, Merrill Lynch, Chase, and J.P. Morgan, building a robust foundation in credit analysis and risk management. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Economics and French Studies from Smith College and dual Master's degrees in Business Administration and Financial Services from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
