Balaji Ghanta

Balaji Ghanta is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in microservices and retail engineering. Currently serving as Head of Retail Engineering and Senior Vice President at Mashreq since November 2019, Balaji focuses on enhancing microservices development practices, API standards, and cloud-native infrastructure. Prior to Mashreq, Balaji worked at Bank of Singapore as Microservices Engineering Lead, managing a team focused on Omni Digital Channel delivery and establishing technical squads. Balaji's career also includes roles at CPF Board, IBM, and DHL, where contributions spanned application development, technical consulting, and innovative project leadership. Balaji holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Amravati University, obtained in 1998.
