Gregory Aguilar

Gregory Aguilar has a wealth of experience in the design and manufacturing industry. In 2017, they co-owned and operated Island Powder Coating, where they were responsible for all aspects of the business restart, including permits, office setup, customer service, and pricing. Gregory also operated industrial burn-off ovens, forklifts, and delivery/pick-up driver. From 2015-2021, they worked for Environmental Lighting for Architecture, Inc - ELA Lighting, first as a Senior Lighting Designer/Engineer and then as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, they prepared concept and submittal drawings and was the main design engineer for new product design. Gregory also worked for International Iron Works LLC from 2015-2020 as a Lighting Designer/Engineer. In 2020, they worked as a Project Designer for Lusive Decor and as a Quotes for Access Lighting. Additionally, since 2018, they have been self-employed as an Industrial Designer for Skewd Design, where they have been involved in projects ranging from custom furniture, electric scooter and accessory designs, graphic catalog design, and custom lighting design work. Finally, they are currently employed as a Production Designer for MASHstudios, a role they have held since 2022.
