Avery Harmier has been working in the food industry since 2010. Avery began their career at Lowe's Home Improvement, where they worked as a Customer Service representative from 2010 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Baker at Lovejoy Bakers from 2012 to 2013. Avery then moved on to Dave's Killer Bread as a Research and Development Technician from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries as a Product Development Technician. Currently, they are working as a Product Innovator at Mason Dixie Biscuit Co.

Avery Harmier obtained a Science of Baking Certification from AIB International between 2015 and 2017.
