Chris Smith

Chris Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Chris is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Masons of California since 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Masonic Homes of California from 2019 to 2020 and also served as a Trustee during their time there. Chris was a Senior Director at Envestnet | Yodlee from 2019 to 2020, overseeing the DevX, API, and Dev Portal. Chris held the position of Senior Grand Deacon at Masons of California from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Senior Director of Development Project Management at Early Warning from 2016 to 2019. Chris also has experience as a VP and Business Leader at Mastercard from 2014 to 2016, Senior Engineering Manager at Verayo from 2013 to 2014, and Senior Research Engineer at SRI International from 2000 to 2013. Chris started their career as a Graduate Engineer at Purdue University from 1997 to 2000 and as a Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State University from 1993 to 1996.

Chris Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from East Central University in 1993. Chris then pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, completing it in 1996. Continuing their education, Chris went on to earn a PhD in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, graduating in 2000. In 2003, they obtained a Certificate in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
