Katie Roof has over 16 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Katie is currently working as Teaching Faculty at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. Prior to this, they held the role of VP of Clinical Care and Quality at Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania, where they provided leadership in nursing and oversaw resident care and employee relations. Before that, they worked at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center as an RNAC and RN Charge Nurse/RN Supervisor. Katie also worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Country Meadows Retirement Communities. Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated expertise in policy development, compliance with regulations, and maximizing reimbursement in healthcare settings.

Katie Roof's education history begins with their completion of a Practical Nursing Diploma from Lebanon County Career and Technology Center in 2005. Following this, they pursued an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Subsequently, Katie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Widener University, completing their studies from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are enrolled in Delaware Law School, where they are expected to complete their Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) degree in Health Law & Compliance by 2023.
