John Amonett

John Amonett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John is currently the Vice President and Business Leader at Masonite™, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Owens Corning from 2012 to 2022, including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis - Insulation, General Manager - Infrastructure, and General Manager - Asphalt. John also served as the Corporate Development Director at Owens Corning for a brief period in 2012.

Before joining Owens Corning, John Amonett was an Outside Director and Chairman at Nextronex Inc. from 2012 to 2016. John also worked as an Independent Contractor for Solar Project Development at Rudolph Libbe in 2012.

John Amonett gained extensive experience at First Solar, where they held the positions of Vice President, Component Business Group, Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Director, Financial Planning and Analysis from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they worked at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Goodyear Germany GmbH, and The Clorox Company, holding various finance-related roles.

Throughout their career, John Amonett has demonstrated strong leadership skills, contributed to revenue growth, led strategic initiatives, and managed large teams.

John Amonett attended Princeton University and earned a Bachelor's degree in History. John also attended Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business and obtained an MBA with a focus on Finance, Marketing, Quantiative Methods, and Supply Chain.
