Benjamin C. Silverman

Benjamin C. Silverman, MD, currently serves as the Senior IRB Chair at Mass General Brigham since August 2020 and has been an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School since July 2011. Previously, Benjamin held the position of IRB Chair at Partners HealthCare from October 2014 to August 2020 and worked as a Senior Consultant at iRewardHealth, Inc. from October 2015 to May 2019. His early career includes roles such as Chair of the Institutional Review Board at McLean Hospital and Psychiatrist-in-Charge at the McLean Center at Fernside. Benjamin completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Partners HealthCare and a fellowship in Medical Ethics at Harvard Medical School. Training included residency in Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. Benjamin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History of Science, Medicine, and Technology and Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and earned a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
