Rashmi Nelson

Rashmi Nelson, MHA, CHIE, serves as the Executive Director of the Diversified Businesses Group Administration at Mass General Brigham since July 2025. Previously, Rashmi held various leadership roles at Commonwealth Care Alliance, including Vice President of Corporate Planning & Performance and Vice President of Primary Care, overseeing primary care clinics. Rashmi’s extensive experience also includes being a Chief at Chief since August 2023, and participation in the Executive Leadership Fellowship at America's Health Insurance Plans. Additional professional background includes roles at The Chartis Group, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, The Dedham Group, Accenture, and administrative residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Rashmi earned an MHA from Columbia University and a B.A. in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University, with further education in health care leadership from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
