Sean Blatchley

Sean Blatchley, CFA, serves as Managing Director at Mass General Brigham Investment Office, having transitioned to this role in 2012. This position encompasses a generalist approach to public and private investments, focusing on asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk, and liquidity management. Recent concentration has been on external private real estate, private equity, private credit, and other private alternatives, alongside public equity and hedge fund portfolios. Prior to this, Sean was a Civil/Structural Engineer at Bechtel/Parsons Brinkerhoff/Modern Continental from 1998 to 2000, where responsibilities included designing support structures for Boston's Big Dig. Sean holds a Master of Science in Finance and an MBA in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
