Philippe Sommer

Philippe Sommer is a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor with extensive experience in supporting startups and early-stage companies. As the Founder of CvilleTrep LLC, Sommer focuses on teaching entrepreneurship and advising startups while engaging in angel investing activities. Active in multiple angel investor groups, including Mass Medical Angels and the Charlottesville Angel Network, Sommer also contributes as a mentor for early-stage Life Science companies at George Mason University. With a background that includes roles such as Entrepreneur In Residence at Northeastern University and board membership at various organizations including Wildrock Nature Play Center and the Tom Tom Founders Festival, Sommer leverages a comprehensive educational foundation that includes an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Neuroscience from Amherst College.
