Karl Eckstrom

Karl Eckstrom, PE, currently serves as the Senior Director of the Bridge/Structures Program at MBTA, a position held since August 2018. Prior to this role, Karl was with PRIME AE Group, Inc. from July 2006 to August 2018 as a Senior Bridge Engineer and Project Manager. Earlier experience includes a position as Project Engineer at Buchart Horn, Inc. and as Project Manager at Jacobs. Karl began a career in bridge engineering with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson as a Bridge Engineer. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from both Messiah University and Temple University, attained between 1988 and 1992.
