Daniel Zimmer is a Chemical Engineering Ph.D. candidate at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with a robust background in biotechnology and engineering. Currently involved in the Voices of Tomorrow Venture Capital Track at Global Biotech Revolution and serving as a Business Development Intern at Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives, Daniel has also contributed to the National Science Foundation's I-Corp programs, conducting extensive customer discovery and market validation interviews. Previous experience includes roles as a Biotech fellow at No Patient Left Behind, a Field Services Engineer at Bausch+Stroebel Machine Company, and various internships focused on mechanical engineering and construction. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage and has a diverse work history that includes emergency medical service and commercial fishing.
