Mahdi Garelnabi

Mahdi Garelnabi, PhD., MSc., FAHA, serves as the Director of the ADVANCE Office for Faculty Equity Resilience at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since September 2009 and holds the position of Professor and Clinical Scientist, specializing in teaching and research related to cardiovascular diseases and clinical laboratory sciences. Prior to this, Mahdi Garelnabi contributed as a member of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association from 2004 to 2015, and held various scientific roles, including Senior Scientist at Siemens Healthcare, Research Scientist at The Ohio State University Medical Center, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory Healthcare. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry from Delhi University, an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from Mumbai University, and a BSc in Biology from Khartoum University.
