Lori Messenger is an accomplished Senior Medical Illustrator with extensive experience spanning over three decades in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Medical Illustrator for both the New England Journal of Medicine and the Massachusetts Medical Society since 2000, Lori also holds a longstanding role as a Medical Illustrator with the Association of Medical Illustrators since 1986 and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators since 1980. Prior experience includes significant roles at Total Learning Concepts and Boston University School of Medicine, as well as early positions at The University of Connecticut Health Center. Lori Messenger earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Medical Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art between 1978 and 1983.
