Kwang Chen

Kwang Chen has a wealth of experience in the field of information technology and management. Kwang currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Massachusetts Port Authority since June 2019. Prior to this, Kwang worked as the Information Technology Project Director at Abu Dhabi Terminals from June 2018 to December 2018. Kwang also served as the VP of Terminal Support Services at GCT Global Container Terminals Inc. from November 2011 to May 2018. Before that, they held the role of Director of IT at Yusen Terminals LLC from 2008 to 2011. Kwang's earlier experiences include working as the General Manager, West Coast Business/Process at APM Terminals from 2004 to 2008, and as the Manager, Systems/Process Development at the same company from 2002 to 2004. Kwang started their career as a Superintendent at Maersk Pacific from 2000 to 2002.

Kwang Chen completed their education at various institutions. Kwang obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from California State University, Long Beach in the year 2000. Afterwards, they pursued further education and earned a Degree in Terminal Management from Lloyd Maritime Academy in 2007. Finally, they completed their academic journey by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in 2016.
