Mark William Bracken

Mark William Bracken, J.D., currently serves as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts State Lottery since March 2022. With extensive experience in public service, Bracken has been with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since November 2004, holding key roles such as Assistant Treasurer and Director of the Unclaimed Property Division, where oversight includes $3.4 billion in unclaimed cash and securities. Additional positions include Executive Secretary of the Board of Appeals at the Division of Insurance and Senior Legal and Policy Analyst for the Financial Services Committee in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Bracken earned a Juris Doctor degree in Financial Services from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American politics from Saint Anselm College, supplementing an educational background that includes a College Preparatory Diploma from Boston College High School.
