Ed Coppinger

Ed Coppinger is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in government affairs and finance. Currently serving as the Head of Government Affairs at MassBio since March 2023, Coppinger collaborates with member companies and elected officials to advance policies that support the Boston and Cambridge biotech ecosystem. Prior to this role, Coppinger was a State Representative for the 10th Suffolk District in the Massachusetts Legislature from January 2011 to February 2023. In the banking sector, Coppinger held the position of Vice President Residential Mortgage Loan Officer at Needham Bank from March 2014 to January 2021 and previously worked at Leader Bank as a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer from August 2009 to February 2014. Coppinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bryant University between 1991 and 1995.
