Tom Browne

Tom is responsible for assisting MassBio’s member companies to launch, grow, and strengthen their internal DEI initiatives through action-based strategies and tactics. This critical work is part of MassBio’s commitment to improving DEI across the life sciences, developing a more diverse talent pipeline, and making the members more successful and better aligned with patient populations.

Prior to joining MassBio, Tom led the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Inclusion team, focused on engaging the business community in efforts to create an inclusive and wealth-generating economy for all. This included overseeing the Chamber’s Pacesetters Supplier Diversity Initiative and partnering on workforce development strategy.

Tom moved to Boston from the UK where he gained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Bath and held various roles in inclusion, corporate philanthropy, and community development, most recently with the East London Business Alliance.
