Christiaan Thoen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation and R&D, currently serving as an Investment Committee Member and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board at PeakBridge VC since February 2022. Thoen also holds positions as a Non Executive Board Member at New Forge and as a Member of the Flavor & Specialty Ingredient Industry Advisory Board at The Riverside Company. As the Founder and President of CurioCT LLC, Thoen supports companies in their innovation journeys. Additional roles include Senior Partner Innovation/R&D at C-Suite Consulting-Partners Group, DISTAP Scientific Advisory Board Member at SMART, and Advisory Board Member at Sleepiz AG. With a history of mentoring startups through MassChallenge and having served as Chief Innovation Officer/Advisor at entrinsic bioscience, Thoen has a robust background in various sectors. Thoen’s educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and a Master's Degree in Chemistry - Biochemistry from the University of Antwerp.
