Michael Lacore

Michael Lacore has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Michael is currently working at Massdriver (YC W22) as a Cloud Solutions Architect. Prior to this, they were an Azure DevOps Engineer at DX1 from May 2021 to April 2022. Michael served as a Senior Information Technology Administrator at GovX from April 2020 to May 2021. Before transitioning into the IT field, Michael worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at both the City of Oceanside and Express Ambulance in 2019. Michael also gained valuable experience as a Senior Support Technician at Sermo from May 2016 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at NovelAspect from August 2014 to April 2016, and as an Information Technology Engineer at AT-NET Services from 2014 to July 2014. Finally, they served as a Master-at-Arms in the US Navy from January 2008 to October 2012.

Michael Lacore started their education journey by attending Central Piedmont Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Computer Science. Michael then pursued a degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician at Palomar College from 2018 to 2020, obtaining their EMT certification. Currently, Michael is enrolled at the University of Colorado Denver Business School, where they are working towards a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems and Services. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. Michael became Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in March 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate in April 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert in March 2022, and is expected to complete their certification as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate in March 2023.
