Steve Lederer

Steve Lederer has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Lead Mobile Software Engineer & Project Manager at MassLight since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from March 2019.

Before joining MassLight, Steve was a Student Developer at DevMountain Student Developers, where they worked on projects such as the SendTrack iOS app and the PhotoBox app. Steve was responsible for the development and implementation of various features in these apps.

In 2011, Steve worked at Technicolor Sound Services as a Sound Editor, where they coordinated a team, completed assignments for major networks, and served as a Foley and dialogue editor. Steve also served as an Assistant Sound Editor and a Runner & Driver at the same company, performing various tasks related to audio and video production.

Steve also has experience as a Freelance Dialogue Editor, where they performed administrative functions and dialogue editing for video games. Additionally, they worked as a Production Assistant at Emmys Red Carpet, supporting production operations for a highly televised live show.

Earlier in their career, Steve worked as an Audio Mixer for Closing Time, The Emerson Channel, and EIV News Live at 9. Steve also served as the A/V Tech Department Head at Camps Airy & Louise, where they managed live sound productions and led a team of technicians.

Furthermore, they worked as an Audio Assistant for the 27th EVVY Awards (Emerson College's Annual Award Show) Telecast.

Steve's work experience demonstrates their skills and expertise in software development, project management, sound editing, and audio mixing.

Steve Lederer obtained an iOS Development degree from Devmountain in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Media Production Sound Design & Audio Post Production (Cum Laude) from Emerson College from 2007 to 2011. Steve also holds a certification in iOS Development from DevMountain.
