Colleen Bannister

Colleen Bannister is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in writing, coaching, and counseling. Since August 2016, Colleen has served as a freelance writer for MassLive.com. Alongside this role, Colleen has been the Head Softball Coach at Westfield State University since July 2015 and a CHART Grant School Based Clinician at Clinical & Support Options, Inc. since April 2015. Colleen has a long history in sports officiating, serving as a softball umpire since March 2003 and coaching various sports at several schools, including field hockey and softball. Colleen's counseling experience includes positions as a guidance counselor at Pioneer Valley Regional School and Athol High School. Colleen's educational background includes an Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership and Administration from Fitchburg State College, a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Psychology from Bucknell University.
