Elizabeth Ward

Elizabeth Ward is the current Chief Financial Officer at MassMutual. Prior to this, they were a Managing Director at Babson Capital Management where they oversaw insurance portfolios. Before that, they were an actuary at American Skandia Life Assurance Company and also a Managing Director and Founding Partner at Charter Oak Capital Management. Her career began at Aetna Life & Casualty where they worked their way up to Vice President over the span of 10 years. Elizabeth has experience in investment strategy, management, and analysis and has been instrumental in the growth of MassMutual.

Elizabeth Ward has a BA in Economics and Spanish from the University of Rochester, a certification from the Society of Actuaries as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a certification from the American Academy of Actuaries as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and a certification from PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers'​ International Association as a Professional Risk Manager.

and Arthur Wallace - Chief Actuary reports to Elizabeth Ward. Their manager is Roger Crandall, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Michael O'Connor - General Counsel, Michael Fanning - Head of MassMutual U.S., and William Porter - Head of Procurement.
