Ritwik Batabyal

Ritwik Batabyal is the CTO & Innovation Officer at Mastek. Ritwik has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on software development, product engineering, and cloud-based solutions.

Ritwik started their career at Hopscotch Technologies, where they were the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. At Hopscotch, Ritwik helped deliver entrepreneurial capability and set up a computer company that was engaged in software publishing, consultancy, and supply. Ritwik also transformed the legacy processes & technologies into API (Application Program Interface) to make them easily consumable through various access channels.

In December 2013, Ritwik joined L&T Technology Services Limited as the GDH-Platform and Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for connecting digital platforms to product engineering and transforming solutions into productised digital offerings on-cloud. Ritwik also laid strategies to monetise these solutions. Ritwik left L&T Technology Services Limited in January 2022.

Currently, as the CTO & Innovation Officer at Mastek, Ritwik is responsible for driving innovation and transformation across the organisation. Ritwik is also responsible for leading the technology team and defining the technology roadmap for Mastek.

Ritwik Batabyal attended the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, where they studied mechanical engineering. Ritwik then attended St. James School.

Their manager is Hiral Chandrana, Global CEO. They are on a team with Umang Nahata - CEO, Evosys, Maninder Kapoor Puri - Group Chief People Officer, and Vikram Kole - Business Head India.
