Sylvia Kunkyebe

Sylvia Kunkyebe is an accomplished leader in youth empowerment and educational support, currently serving as the Head of Scholars Program Support Services at Mastercard Foundation since September 2020. Under this role, Sylvia provides strategic guidance to a global network of over 40 universities, focusing on inclusive support for Mastercard Foundation Scholars to enhance their educational and employment prospects. Sylvia has held various roles, including Program Lead for Transition and Alumni and Lead for Industry Engagement, driving impactful initiatives that address the needs of young leaders, particularly in Africa. In addition to a robust career at Mastercard Foundation, Sylvia founded Career Connect Consult, generating significant internship opportunities across multiple African countries, and has contributed to entrepreneurial mentoring programs and career services at Ashesi University. Education credentials include a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Ghana, a diploma in Community Development from Trent University, and a BA in Political Science and French from the University of Ghana.
